Diferenciação pedagógica em matemática através de tarefas paralelas: um estudo no 4.º ano de escolaridade

| dc.description.abstract | O presente relatório, realizado no âmbito do projeto de investigação, foi desenvolvido no decorrer do 2.o ano do Mestrado em Educação Pré-Escolar e Ensino do 1.o Ciclo do Ensino Básico. O projeto decorreu no último período de estágio de intervenção numa turma de 4.o ano do 1.o Ciclo do Ensino Básico. Este projeto tem como principal objetivo perceber quais os desafios com que me deparo na preparação e exploração de tarefas que visem a Diferenciação Pedagógica em Matemática. No que diz respeito à metodologia utilizada, esta recai sobre uma abordagem qualitativa centrada na prática, onde se prevê a capacidade de reflexão sobre o trabalho que vai sendo desenvolvido ao longo do tempo. Quanto às técnicas para recolha de dados foram utilizadas a observação participante e direta (notas de campo e gravações áudio) e recolha documental. No que se refere aos resultados do estudo, destaca-se que o trabalho em torno de tarefas paralelas envolve um conjunto de desafios para o professor associados aos diferentes momentos desse trabalho. Na seleção/adaptação das tarefas destaca-se a elaboração de questões que se mostrem adequadas aos diferentes níveis de aprendizagem dos alunos da turma. Na preparação das tarefas realça-se a antecipação das estratégias de resolução das tarefas e das dificuldades dos alunos, como aspetos mais desafiantes por exigirem um conhecimento aprofundado dos alunos e dos seus níveis de aprendizagem. Finalmente, na exploração das tarefas na sala de aula, apesar de em todos os seus momentos existirem desafios, destaca-se o momento de monitorização do trabalho dos alunos em que se destaca o desafio de apoiar os alunos na interpretação e compreensão do enunciado do problema sem lhes dar a resposta às questões colocadas. | pt_PT |
| dc.description.abstract | This report, carried out within the scope of the research project, was developed during the 2nd year of my Masters in Pre-School Education and Teaching of the 1st cycle of Basic Education. The project took place in the last period of the intervention internship in a 4th grade class of the 1st cycle of Basic Education. The main objective of this project is to understand the challenges I face in the preparation and exploration of tasks aimed at Pedagogical Differentiation in Mathematics. With regard to the methodology used, this relies on a qualitative approach centered on practice, which provides for the ability to reflect on the work that is being developed over time. As for the techniques for data collection, participant and direct observation (field notes and audiovisual recordings) and documentary collection were used. With regard to the results of the study, it is highlighted that the work around parallel tasks involves a set of challenges for the teacher associated with the different moments of this work. In the selection/adaptation of the tasks, emphasis is placed on the elaboration of questions that are suitable for the different learning levels of the students in the class. In the preparation of tasks, anticipation of strategies for solving tasks and students' difficulties is highlighted, as more challenging aspects as they require in-depth knowledge of students and their learning levels. Finally, in the exploration of tasks in the classroom, despite the fact that there are challenges at all times, the moment of monitoring the students' work stands out, in which the challenge of supporting students in the interpretation and understanding of the statement of the problem without giving them the answer to the questions posed. | pt_PT |
