Abstract(s)
O presente relatório de estágio foi realizado no âmbito do Curso de Mestrado em Enfermagem
Médico-Cirúrgica, na área de Enfermagem à Pessoa em Situação Perioperatória (MEMCPSPE), da
Escola Superior de Enfermagem do Porto.
O objetivo deste relatório é apresentar as atividades realizadas, analisar de que forma estas
contribuíram para a aquisição e o desenvolvimento de competências comuns do enfermeiro
especialista em enfermagem médico-cirúrgica e específicas, do enfermeiro especialista em
enfermagem médico-cirúrgica à pessoa em situação perioperatória. O estágio representa um
momento pedagógico, uma experiência enriquecedora, onde é permitido conviver com uma
realidade profissional ambicionada, aplicar conhecimentos adquiridos no período formativo e
crescer como profissional. Os dois momentos de estágio foram executados numa instituição da
zona norte do pais, um primeiro período no bloco operatório na especialidade de cirurgia e outro
no bloco operatório central (urgência/emergência).
Para a realização deste trabalho foi utilizada uma metodologia descritiva, com análise e reflexão
crítica baseada em evidência científica. As atividades desenvolvidas durante o estágio,
cimentaram o desenvolvimento de Competências Específicas do Enfermeiro Especialista em
Enfermagem Médico-Cirúrgica à Pessoa em Situação Perioperatória com o tema “Visita pósoperatória
de enfermagem, na área da gestão da dor pós procedimento cirúrgico – Quais os
elementos a integrar?”.
A dor pós-operatória é um sintoma previsível e temido pelos clientes, sendo fundamental que os
profissionais de saúde estejam sensibilizados para o alívio da mesma e do desconforto. A visita
pós-operatória de enfermagem representa um dos passos da assistência de enfermagem ao
cliente cirúrgico. Uma avaliação da dor pós-operatória eficaz aumenta a segurança e a
qualidade dos cuidados prestados, levando a padrões de qualidade de excelência.
O desenvolvimento de intervenções especifícas de enfermagem no período perioperatório eleva
os cuidados prestados a um alto nível de qualidade, permite reduzir o impacto negativo da
experiência cirúrgica e melhorar a satisfação do cliente e família/pessoa significativa.
The purpose of this report is to present the activities carried out, analyze how they contributed to the acquisition and development of common skills of the specialist nurse in medical-surgical nursing and specific skills of the specialist nurse in medical-surgical nursing for individuals in perioperative situations. The internship represents a pedagogical moment, an enriching experience, where it is allowed to interact with a desired professional reality, apply knowledge acquired during the training period, and grow as a professional. The two internship periods were carried out at an institution in the northern region of the country, one in the operating room specialized in surgery and the other in the central operating room (emergency). For the completion of this work, a descriptive methodology was used, with analysis and critical reflection based on scientific evidence. The activities developed during the internship solidified the development of Specific Skills of the Specialist Nurse in Medical-Surgical Nursing for Individuals in Perioperative Situations with the theme "Postoperative nursing visit in the area of post-surgical pain management - What elements to integrate?". Postoperative pain is a predictable and feared symptom by patients, and it is essential that healthcare professionals are sensitized to pain and discomfort relief. The postoperative nursing visit represents one of the steps in nursing care for surgical patients. An effective assessment of postoperative pain increases the safety and quality of care provided, leading to standards of excellence in quality. The development of specific nursing interventions in the perioperative period elevates the care provided to a high level of quality, allowing for the reduction of the negative impact of the surgical experience and improving client and family/significant other satisfaction.
