Este Relatório de Estágio visa demonstrar a aquisição de competências de Mestre em Enfermagem e de Enfermeiro Especialista em Enfermagem Médico-Cirúrgica - a Pessoa em Situação Crítica.
A Oxigenoterapia de Alto Fluxo é cada vez mais utilizada na abordagem da pessoa em situação crítica, maioritariamente nas Unidades de Cuidados Intensivos. Entre as várias atividades desenvolvidas no Estágio Final, inclui-se o desenvolvimento de um Projeto de Intervenção, como atividade de particular destaque, com o objetivo de melhorar a qualidade dos cuidados de enfermagem à pessoa em situação crítica submetida a Oxigenoterapia de Alto Fluxo por Cânula Nasal, na Unidade de Cuidados Intensivos.
Neste relatório, faremos uma abordagem detalhada do desenvolvimento do referido projeto de intervenção, seguindo a Metodologia de Projeto e sustentado pelo Modelo para Mudança da Prática Baseada em Evidências. Simultaneamente proceder-se-á à descrição e análise fundamentada de outras atividades desenvolvidas ao longo do percurso académico, evidenciando a forma como no seu conjunto, contribuíram para a aquisição e desenvolvimento das competências já enunciadas.
This Internship Report aims to demonstrate the acquisition of competencies of Master in Nursing and Specialist Nurse in Medical-Surgical Nursing - the Person in Critical Situation. High Flow Oxygen Therapy is increasingly used in the approach of people in critical situations, mostly in Intensive Care Units. Among the various activities developed in the Final Stage, the development of an Intervention Project is included, as an activity of particular prominence, with the objective of improving the quality of nursing care for critically ill people undergoing High Flow Oxygen Therapy by Nasal Cannula, in the Intensive Care Unit. In this report, we will take a detailed approach to the development of this intervention project, following the Project Methodology and underpinned by the Model for Evidence-Based Practice Change. At the same time, it will be possible to describe and analyze other activities developed throughout the academic career, highlighting how as a whole, they contributed to the acquisition and development of the skills already mentioned
