necessidades enquanto entidade biopsicossocial e espiritual. Considerando o elevado
Competências Comuns do Enfermeiro Especialista, Competências Específicos do
Enfermeiro Especialista em Enfermagem à Pessoa em Situação Crónica, e respetivos
Padrões de Qualidade dos Cuidados Especializados.
Care for individuals with hemato-oncological diseases is particularly demanding due to the heterogeneity and complexity of the possible trajectories associated with these conditions. Their nursing care plans encompass a significant number of nursing diagnoses and interventions, aiming to address all their needs as biopsychosocial and spiritual beings. Considering the high number of interdependent interventions required for this population, as well as the associated risks, it becomes evident that the likelihood of adverse events cannot be disregarded. This work reports on internships carried out employing a project methodology, with the goals of: developing competencies for specialized care of individuals with hemato-oncological diseases and their families/caregivers, as well as contributing to the improvement of quality and safety in the administration of intravenous antineoplastic therapy. In order to achieve these goals, the theoretical frameworks of Virginia Henderson and Avedis Donabedian were applied. In the planning and execution of the goals aligned with the objectives and respective activities, we adhered to the Dublin Descriptors, Regulations for Common Competencies of Clinical Nurse Specialist, Specific Competencies of Clinical Nurse Specialist in Chronicc Diseases, and the corresponding Standards of Quality of Specialized Care.
