Upon entering schools, new teachers are faced with a series of challenges, namely: classroom management, adaptation to the curriculum and educational policies, meeting the individual needs of students, relationships with parents and guardians and still with the lack of knowledge of the bureaucratic part inherent to the profession. To overcome these difficulties, teachers must have solid and comprehensive academic training and maintain an attitude of resilience, adaptability and, essentially, enjoyment of the profession. This work will consist of personally sharing the experience of a recently graduated teacher, which aims to inform future teachers of part of the reality they encounter when they enter the world of work.
