| dc.description.abstract | A introdução das Tecnologias de Informação e Comunicação (TIC) na educação tem provocado algumas alterações na forma como os docentes promovem o seu desenvolvimento profissional. As ferramentas das TIC possibilitam a constituição de comunidades online de professores, cujos objectivos são a partilha de saberes e de experiências na construção do conhecimento e na inovação das práticas. Elaborado no âmbito da Unidade Curricular de Educação a Distância do Programa Doutoral em Multimédia em Educação (Universidade de Aveiro), este artigo tem como principal objectivo a apresentação de uma revisão bibliográfica sobre os factores críticos de sucesso inerentes a comunidades de prática online de professores. Aspectos como a tecnologia, a confiança, a capacidade de comunicação, a socialização, o tempo, a liderança, o sentimento de pertença, o entendimento comum surgem como elementos determinantes para o êxito destas comunidades. | pt_PT |
| dc.description.abstract | Information and Communication Technology (ICT) in Education has been responsible for some changes in the way teachers enhance their professional development. ICT tools allow the creation of teachers’ online communities, with the aim of being able to share information, knowledge creation, best practices and practical innovations. This paper was developed to support the goals of the Curricular Unit “Educação a Distância”(Aveiro University), and its major purpose is to present a bibliographical review about critical factors of success inherent to a teachers’ online Community of Practice (CoP) such as technology, confidence building, communication capacity, socialization, time, leadership, sense of belonging and common understanding. The review of several theoretical and empirical sources has revealed that those factos might have a double edge, in the sense that they may work first as barriers to success of a teachers’ online CoP, but will evolve as eventual motivational factors. | en |
