Abstract(s)
This work presents a fundamentally complex multi agent-based simulator that was developed in MATLAB with models and processes created from the real world. These agents, modelled and incorporated in the simulator, are based on the characteristics of a Fuzileiro in the battlefield, in terms of equipment, progress on the field and capability to react. To model the agents, the models that were developed were chosen with the purpose of creating the base of what is the behaviour of a soldier, specifically a Fuzileiro and within the spectre of operations that are developed by a special force element. Some models where created through varied resarch and bibiography, while others where obtained through practical experimentation, for some more specific values. The parameters were chosen so that when the models created were introduced and run in the simulator, the results where closer to what would be obtained in real life situations, for example in terms of vision capabilities, agent movement patterns and likewise for shooting and balistics parameters. In order to obtain the most realistic and reliable results at the end of each simulation, it became neccessary to develop models that would allow to create a virtual version of the essence of a Fuzileiro in its three primary components: the Static component, Dinamic and the component of Interaction on the battlefield
