Abstract(s)
This report is the culmination not only of the internship held at Babcock Mission Critical Services Portugal but also of my learning during the Master degree in Human Resources Management at the Universidade Europeia. This is a simple non-experimental descriptive study because it does not intend to add anything new to the subject, rather it intends to do a deep research in the area of Analysis and description of functions in the company so that they stay with a tool that facilitates the process of Human Resources Management since this analysis will serve as an output for decision making in other areas of Human Resources, such as Recruitment and Selection; Performance Evaluation; Training and Development; Career Management and Compensations. The instruments used were questionnaires and interviews applied to 6 from a total of 86 employees which are predominantly male and are included within the five main areas of the Company: Management, Administration, Quality, Operations and Maintenance & Engineering. One of the limitations of this study was the impossibility of applying the interviews and questionnaires to the total number of employees, given the geographical dispersion of their operational bases, since most are pilots and maintenance technicians with a work scale outside the headquarters. As a final result of the report the analysis and respective descriptions of each job were presented to the company.
