Abstract(s)
Após termos enfrentado um dos períodos mais adversos da nossa história, onde tivemos de
lidar com a pandemia, luto e um cenário de muita instabilidade política e económica, que
aumentou a competitividade, as incertezas, as persistentes necessidades de mudança, onde
as organizações buscam a sua afirmação e adaptação de acordo com as necessidades do
meio, entendemos agarrar como objeto de estudo o tema da cultura organizacional (CO).
Procuramos, ao longo deste trabalho, refletir em torno de algumas questões que se nos
afiguram pertinentes na procura de um conhecimento mais profundo sobre a CO da Polícia
de Segurança Pública (PSP), para isso apresentando um quadro que a permita identificar e
compreender, identificar a sua importância em contexto policial, a sua influência sobre
atitudes e comportamentos e o seu papel mediador e potenciador de vantagem competitiva
e de retenção de talento. Resumindo, entender de facto se a CO tem impacto positivo no
sucesso das organizações.
After having faced one of the most adverse periods in our history, where we had to deal with the pandemic, mourning, and a scenario of great political and economic instability, which increased competitiveness, uncertainties, and the persistent need for change, where organizations seek their affirmation and adaptation according to the needs of the environment, we decided to take the theme of organizational culture (OC) as an object of study. Throughout this work, we have tried to reflect on some questions that seem pertinent in the search for a deeper knowledge about OC in the Public Security Police (PSP). To this end, we present a framework that allows us to identify and understand it and to identify its importance in the police context, its influence on attitudes and behaviors, and its role as a mediator and enhancer of competitive advantage and talent retention. In short, to understand in fact whether OC has a positive impact on the success of organizations.
