Este relatório foi desenvolvido no âmbito do Mestrado em Educação Pré-escolar e tem como tema a Relação da Creche/Jardim-de-Infância com a Família. Tem como finalidade compreender a importância do estabelecimento de uma boa relação entre a instituição educativa e a família.
A metodologia utilizada assenta na investigação qualitativa, inspirando-se também nos objetivos da investigação-ação. Pretende-se assim contribuir para a compreensão e eventual melhoria das práticas pedagógicas, através da modificação de determinadas situações-problema identificadas em contexto de estágio.
Os procedimentos utilizados para recolher e tratar a informação foram a observação-participante, o inquérito por questionário dirigido às educadoras cooperantes dos contextos de estágio e a análise dos documentos oficiais das instituições e das salas.
As principais conclusões a que cheguei têm a ver com o facto de existirem diversas estratégias e modalidades de relacionamento que podem ser utilizadas para desenvolver uma relação positiva entre a instituição educativa e as famílias. No entanto, estas estratégias deverão ser ajustadas ao contexto educativo e às necessidades e interesses das famílias, promovendo o desenvolvimento e bem-estar das crianças.
Uma outra conclusão a que cheguei incide no facto de existirem repercussões positivas nas crianças, nos educadores e nas famílias, quando esta relação se desenvolve da melhor forma.
This report was written for the Preschool Education Master and its subject is the Relationship of the Kindergarten with the Family. The purpose of this work is to understand the importance of building a good relationship between the educating institution and the family. The methodology used in this study is based on qualitative investigation, inspiring as well in the objectives of the action research. This work intends to comprehend and possible improve pedagogical practices by changing certain problem-situations identified in the internship context. The procedures used to collect and analyze data were the participant-observation, the questionnaire survey directed to the childhood educators of the internship context and analysis of the official documents of the institution and its classes. The main conclusions that I got are related to the fact that are several strategies and kinds of relationship that can be used to developed a positive relationship between the institution and parents. However, these strategies should be adjusted to the educational context and the personal needs and interests of each family, to promote the development and well-being of the children. Another conclusion that I was able to draw from this study is the fact that there are positive repercussions in the children, the educators and the parents, when this relationship is developed in the best way.
