Esta dissertação analisa e explora a Street Art em espaço de galeria, tendo como exemplo o artista Banksy. A exposição "Banksy: Genius or Vandal?" é escolhido para ser analisada. É analisada a possibilidade de uma exposição sem autorização do artista por terceiros em Moscou (2018) e Lisboa (2020). A história da Street Art está intrinsecamente ligada à liberdade do artista e, portanto, a transição para o espaço das galerias torna-se relevante à medida que toca no tema de onde começam e terminam as fronteiras da Street Art.
This dissertation analyzes and explores Street Art in the gallery space, using the artist Banksy as an example. The exhibition "Banksy: Genius or Vandal?" is chosen as the analysis. The possibility of an exhibition without authorization of the artist by third parties in Moscow (2018) and Lisbon (2020) is analyzed. The history of Street Art is inextricably linked to the freedom of the artist and therefore the transition to the space of galleries becomes relevant as it touches on the theme of where the boundaries of Street Art begin and end.
