| dc.description.abstract | A presente investigação decorreu no âmbito da unidade curricular Prática de Ensino Supervisionada II do Mestrado de Qualificação para a Docência em Educação Pré-Escolar e Ensino do Primeiro Ciclo do Ensino Básico. Tentou-se perceber se seria possível partir-se de uma visita de estudo, tornando esse processo numa aprendizagem significativa e quais as potencialidades da metodologia Inquiry Based Learning (IBL) no ensino e aprendizagem das ciências. A metodologia utilizada foi a investigação-ação e contou como participantes com os alunos de uma turma de 2.º ano de escolaridade no 1.º Ciclo do Ensino Básico, bem como com a docente titular e a professora-investigadora. Considera-se que os resultados obtidos foram bastante positivos uma vez que foi utilizada a metodologia IBL o que, por sua vez, direcionou os alunos para o centro do processo e, deste modo, conduziu a uma aprendizagem significativa, com uma motivação acrescida. Partiu-se de uma visita de estudo e as seguintes etapas foram fulcrais para a avaliação final que conduziu à construção espontânea de um jogo feito pela turma. | pt_PT |
| dc.description.abstract | The present research occurred regarding the contents of the curricular unit of Supervised Teaching Practice II in the Master's Degree in Pre-school and Primary School Teaching. We tried to understand if it would be possible to start with a field trip, making this process into a meaningful learning and what is the potential of the Inquiry Based Learning (IBL) methodology in teaching and learning science really is. We used an action-research methodology and the participants were students from a 2nd grade class in the 1st cycle of basic education as well as the head teacher and the teacher-researcher. It is considered that the results obtained were quite positive since the IBL methodology was used, which, in turn, guided the students to the center of the process and, in this way, led to significant learning, with increased motivation. We started with a field trip and the following steps were central to the final assessment that led to the spontaneous construction of a game by the class. | pt_PT |
