Abstract(s)
A língua portuguesa é a nossa língua materna, como tal, é necessário
que o ensino da mesma seja uma prioridade nas nossas escolas, não só por
ser transversal e importante em todas as outras áreas de conhecimento, mas
também porque é com ela que comunicamos com os nossos pares.
Uma grande parte deste ensino e desta comunicação assenta numa boa
aprendizagem do conhecimento explícito, pois só o uso correto do mesmo
permitirá que a comunicação se faça de forma correta. É sabido que o bom uso
da pontuação, nomeadamente da vírgula, pode alterar completamente o
sentido de uma frase e assim perturbar a comunicação entre os indivíduos.
Com esta investigação pretende-se perceber o porquê dos erros dos alunos no
uso da vírgula e o que pode ser feito para minorar esses erros.
Este estudo, do ponto de vista da metodologia, utiliza o paradigma
interpretativo, uma metodologia qualificativa e a investigação- ação. Os dados
foram recolhidos em contexto de prática pedagógica, através da observação e
da realização de fichas de trabalho com objetivos diferentes.
Conclui-se que um bom nível de conhecimento explícito da língua ajuda
os alunos na pontuação de textos e que é importante discutir e sistematizar as
regras de utilização dos sinais de pontuação.
The Portuguese language is our mother tongue, as such, it is necessary that the teaching thereof is a priority in our schools, not only for being transversal and important in all other areas of knowledge, but also because with it we communicate with our peers. Much of this teaching and this communication relies on a sound learning of explicit knowledge, because only the correct use of it will allow the communication is done correctly. It is known that the proper use of punctuation, including the decimal point, can completely change the meaning of a sentence and thus disrupting communication between individuals. With this research we intend to realize the students the mistakes of why the use of the comma and what can be done to minimize these errors. This study, from the point of view of the methodology, uses the interpretation paradigm, and a qualifying action research methodology. Data were collected in the context of teaching practice, through observation and fulfillment of worksheets with different goals. We conclude that a good level of explicit knowledge of the language helps students in scores of texts and it is important to discuss and systematize the rules for the use of punctuation marks.
