| dc.description.abstract | O presente trabalho de projeto surge no âmbito do 2o ano de Mestrado em Segurança e Higiene no Trabalho, da Escola Superior de Tecnologia de Setúbal e da Escola Superior de Ciências Empresariais do Instituto Politécnico de Setúbal. Este designa-se por Trabalhos em Altura numa Organização de Agroquímicos – Proposta de melhoria do processo de trabalhos em altura. Os trabalhos em altura expõem os trabalhadores a riscos potencialmente danosos para a sua saúde e segurança, nomeadamente riscos de quedas em altura, que representam uma percentagem elevada do número de acidentes. A necessidade de estudo para alcançar uma melhoria na organização onde a mestranda trabalha aliada ao gosto pessoal da mesma pela temática conciliaram-se e foram potencialmente asseguradas as condições para o desenvolvimento do projeto de trabalho. O título do trabalho espelha o seu objetivo principal e para o mesmo foram definidos objetivos específicos, tais como analisar estatisticamente os relatórios de ocorrências num período de cinco anos e meio, efetuar um levantamento de trabalhos em altura executados, normalmente, na organização objeto de estudo, e caracterizar e analisar o processo existente de trabalhos em altura. A metodologia adotada para o desenvolvimento do projeto comportou diversos tipos de pesquisas e análises, nomeadamente, a pesquisa documental associada à análise estatística, o levantamento e sistematização de informação, a utilização de análise SWOT e a criação de uma estrutura representativa de uma proposta de melhoria do processo de trabalhos em altura. Foram propostas medidas de controlo passíveis de implementação em trabalhos de altura na organização, que permitem um maior nível de controlo do risco. Tal foi possível, por um lado devido ao vasto conhecimento da realidade da especificidade do trabalho e, por outro lado, pela aferição e avaliação das medidas existentes. | pt_PT |
| dc.description.abstract | The current project work comes within the scope of the 2nd year of the Master’s Degree in Safety and Hygiene at Work, from the Higher School of Technology of Setúbal and from the Higher School of Business Sciences of the Polytechnic Institute of Setúbal, and it is entitled - Jobs at Height in an Agrochemical Organization - Proposal to improve the process of working in height. Working at height exposes workers to particularly high risks for their health and safety, namely the risk of falling, which represents a high percentage of the accident numbers. Both the need to achieve an improvement in the organization where the master's student works and her personal taste for the subject aligned and the conditions for the development of the work project were potentially assured. The title of the work mirrors its main goal to which specific objectives were defined, such as statistical analysis of the occurrence reports over a period of five and a half years, carry out a survey of work at height, normally, performed in the organization under study, and characterizing and analyzing the height work process. The methodology adopted for the development of the project involved several types of research and analysis, namely, the documentary research associated with statistical analysis, the survey and systematization of information, the use of SWOT analysis and the creation of a representative structure for a proposal to improve the height work process. On the one hand it was possible to do so through the recognition of their work reality and by checking current measures, and on the other hand by identifying other control measures associated with working at height.
