RESUMEN
El Centro Náutico de Panxón, surge como necesidad a la demanda actual de un edificio que
se utilice como conexión entre el núcleo urbano y el mar. A lo largo de la historia, la relación
de la sociedad con el mar ha ido cambiando y evolucionando desde la Edad Antigua hasta la
actualidad, ya sea como lugares de desarrollo de actividades comerciales, turísticas,
deportivas o educativas.
Esta disertación trata de reflejar esa convivencia histórica, definiendo las diferentes
tipologías y variables de análisis, que junto con la caracterización del lugar, responden a los
objetivos principales identificando una serie de necesidades espaciales programáticas que
definen un nuevo proyecto arquitectónico y resuelven los condicionantes locales.
Para ello, se establece un plan metodológico en el que se emplean distintas técnicas de
recogida de información. Inicialmente se realiza un análisis documental enfocado en una
investigación cronológica histórica de la evolución de los espacios urbano-portuarios y el
impacto social de este tipo de construcciones a lo largo de la historia. En segundo lugar, se
realiza un análisis de los Clubs Náuticos españoles, que se complementa con el estudio de
tres casos próximos, sobre la perspectiva de las diferentes variables, para así extraer una
serie de conclusiones.
De esta forma, se proyecta un espacio arquitectónico que ofrece una serie de servicios
sociales que hasta ahora eran inexistentes, que logran potenciar la zona y así lograr integrar
una arquitectura marítima en el núcleo urbano.
Es de gran importancia que Panxón tenga un edificio multifuncional de estas características
en un enclave natural privilegiado, que con su arquitectura, acaba por ordenar la malla urbana
costera, fomentando la cultura marítima en la población y logrando una conexión entre la
ciudad y el mar.
RESUMO O Centro Náutico de Panxón surge como uma necessidade para a procura atual de um edifício que é usado como conexão entre o núcleo urbano e o mar. Ao longo da história, a relação da sociedade com o mar vem-se alterando e evoluindo, desde tempos remotos até ao presente, seja em espaços de desenvolvimento de atividades comerciais, turísticas, desportivas ou educacionais. Esta dissertação visa refletir essa convivência histórica, definindo as diferentes tipologias e variáveis de análise, que juntamente com a caracterização do lugar identificam uma série de necessidades programáticas espaciais para propor um novo projeto arquitetónico e resolver as condicionantes locais. Para isso, é estabelecido um método de investigação em que são utilizadas diferentes técnicas de recolha e análise de informações. Inicialmente, uma análise documental focada na investigação cronológica histórica da evolução dos espaços urbano-portuários e do impacto social desse tipo de construções ao longo da história. Em segundo lugar, realiza-se uma análise dos Clubes Náuticos espanhóis, complementada pelo estudo qualitativo de três casos próximos, sobre a perspetiva de diferentes variáveis, a fim de tirar uma série de conclusões. Como resultado, projecta-se um espaço arquitetónico que oferece uma série de serviços sociais que até agora eram inexistentes, conseguindo fortalecer esta área e a integração da arquitetura marítima no núcleo urbano. É de grande importância para Panxón possuir uma construção multifuncional com estas características, numa localização natural privilegiada, que com sua arquitetura termina por ordenar a malha urbana costeira, promovendo a cultura marítima na população e alcançando a conexão da cidade com o mar.
ABSTRACT The Nautical Centre of Panxón rises up as a need to actual demand for a building which to be used like a connection between the urban core and the sea. Over the history, the link of the society with the sea has been changing and developing from Ancient Age to the present because of commercial development, tourism, sports or educational activities. This dissertation tries to reflect that historical coexistence, defining the different typologies and changeable of analysis, which together with the characterization of the place identify series of spatial needs that define a new architectural project and resolve the local determining. For this, a methodological plan is established in which different information skills are used. Initially, it is focused a documentary analysis on a historical chronological investigation of the evolution of urban-port spaces and the social impact about this type of constructions over history. Secondly, an analysis of the Spanish Nautical Clubs are carried out and it is complemented by the qualitative study of three upcoming cases, on the perspective of the different variables, in order to draw series of conclusions. In this way, an architectural space is projected that offers series of social services that were non-existent until now, and it manages to improve the area and in this way, to achieve the integration of maritime architecture in the urban core. It is very important that Panxón has a multifunctional building of these characteristics in a privileged natural enclave, which with its architecture ends up ordering the coastal urban mesh to promote maritime culture in the population and achieve the city-sea connection.
