| dc.description.abstract | Numa sociedade em constante evolução, o debate sobre o papel feminino no meio artístico e cultural tem-se demonstrado cada vez mais presente e relevante. O reconhecimento do mérito, independentemente de género, raça e credo religioso é uma premissa das sociedades contemporâneas. Em pleno século XXI o registo historiográfico, editorial e museográfico, revela ainda fragilidades no âmbito da igualdade de género, identificando-se, particularmente no contexto português, a um conjunto já significativo de iniciativas que visam o colmatar dessas lacunas. No âmbito destas iniciativas, como contributo para as fortalecer, foi iniciado um projeto editorial, em modelo fanzine, que visa dar a conhecer as vivências profissionais e pessoais de várias designers gráficas e ilustradoras portuguesas. O projeto “Mulheres Criativas” surge, deste modo, como um contributo para a historiografia do design gráfico português, uma das áreas menos desenvolvidas no contexto das atividades criativas e projetuais, encontrando-se particularmente focado na promoção historiográfica da igualdade de género. Este projeto encontra-se assim alinhado com uma já significativa área de investigação no âmbito da História do Design em Portugal, desenvolvida no cluster de investigação “Mapping Portuguese Design” da UNIDCOM IADE-UE, contribuindo para o reforço da historiografia do design gráfico e da ilustração em Portugal. | pt_PT |
| dc.description.abstract | Amidst a society in constant evolution, the debate over the female role in the artistic and cultural environment has been increasingly present and relevant. The acknowledgement of merit, regardless of gender, race, religious creed, is a premise of contemporary societies. In the middle of the 21st century, the historiographical, editorial and museographic register still reveals weaknesses in the field of gender equality, identifying, however, and in particular within the Portuguese context, an already significant set of initiatives aimed at bridging these gaps. Within the scope of these initiatives, and as a contribution to strengthen them, an editorial project was initialized, in a fanzine model, which aims to poster the professional and personal experiences of various Portuguese graphic designers and illustrators. The project "Creative Women" thus emerges as a contribute to the historiography of Portuguese graphic design, one of the least developed areas in the context of creative and projective activities, being primarily focused on the historiographic promotion of gender equality. This project is, therefore, aligned with an already significant area of research within the scope of the History of Design in Portugal, developed in the research cluster "Mapping Portuguese Design" of UNIDCOM IADE-EU, contributing to the strengthening of the historiography of graphic design and illustration in Portugal. | pt_PT |
