Abstract(s)
The growing concern with environmental sustainability and the energy transition has led to significant changes in the automotive sector, particularly through the promotion of electric vehicles (EVs). In this context, several governments have implemented incentive policies for electric mobility, with the aim of accelerating the adoption of this technology and reducing dependence on fossil fuels. The main objective of this dissertation is to analyze how government incentives influence consumer preferences and behavior in the purchase of electric cars. To this end, a literature review was carried out focusing on technological innovation, public support policies, and theoretical models that explain consumer behavior. The expected results aim to contribute to the reflection on the effectiveness of these policies and to the formulation of strategies that integrate innovation, sustainability, and business management in a more coherent way.
