Abstract(s)

According to the results, there are statistically significant differences between the time before the pandemic and the current time, the loneliness numbers increased in 31 participants (39%), in the Geriatric Depression 35 participants (44%) and in Geriatric Anxiety 45 participants (57%). At GDS-15 we have an increase of depressive symptomatology in 12 participants (15,2%) and at GAI-SF, an increase of anxiety symptomatology in 22 participants (27,8%). With this study we conclude that, resulting from the pandemic, the loneliness levels, the depressive and the anxiety increased. So, we can say that according to the mental health of the seniors there are necessary interventions to avoid the pandemic consequences in order to increase the quality of life and wellness of the oldest population.
