Abstract(s)
Com o presente trabalho de investigação individual pretende–se efectuar um
levantamento para dar a conhecer a importância das infra-estruturas de carácter social em
particular as existentes nas Forças Armadas, e a sua importância para o bem-estar e
melhoria da qualidade de vida material, moral e mental da família militar.
Foi feita uma perspectiva histórica da evolução e princípios orientadores do apoio
social ao longo dos tempos, com referências aos vários pensadores e organismos que
deram o seu contributo para a melhoria do apoio social prestado aos cidadãos. Como
impulsionadora, e estando na génese da criação das messes militares, foi igualmente
abordado a evolução histórica da Manutenção Militar.
Para um melhor conhecimento das estruturas ao nível de messes militares
existentes na Marinha, Exército, Força Aérea e IASFA e o apoio que estes Ramos das
Forças Armadas prestam as seus militares foi efectuada uma descrição dos serviços
prestados pelas já referidas messes.
Por fim, para aumentar a eficácia e para um melhor aproveitamento dos recursos
existentes no apoio social prestado aos militares por estas estruturas, foi recomendado a
criação de um órgão na dependência directa do Ministério da Defesa que tivesse a
responsabilidade de toda a gestão dos organismos de carácter social existentes nas Forças
Armadas. Abstract: It’s the intent of this individual investigation to show the effective importance of
the social main structure existing in the armed forces and its dids to the social, moral and
mental welfare of all military family.
A perspective historical evolution was made and its social principles throughout
the years, with reference to some ideological beginners and institutions that gave its
support to the social care to all citizens. The genesis was a creation of the military mess
halls and it was also studied its historical evolution in the military main structure.
For a better knowledge of all levels in the military mess halls structure existing in
the Navy, Army, Air Force and IASFA and its support to all armed forces and its
personnel it was made a study of all services given in those messes.
At the end, to increase the effectiveness and better years of all existing resources
in social support given to all military personnel by this structures was recommended the
implementation of a service/agency hierarically dependent from the Ministry of Defense
which could have the primary responsibility in management of all social support existing
in the Armed forces.
