Abstract(s)
A motivação e a liderança correspondem às principais ferramentas para a compreensão do comportamento humano no ambiente de trabalho. Permitem a elaboração de estratégias e políticas que viabilizem as práticas gerenciais. O conhecimento desses temas deve ser considerado competência necessária para corresponder à crescente oferta de bens e serviços de saúde oral e a complexidade do seu ambiente (Moore et al., 2015; Stefl, 2008).
Vencer desafios empresariais e aumentar a produtividade são incumbências cada vez mais presentes nas organizações, requerem preparação para assumir diversos níveis de responsabilidade diretiva, o que demanda uma melhor gestão dos seus recursos (Corrêa et al., 2013). Espera-se dos profissionais de saúde oral, resultados mensuráveis, eficácia e prática da gestão baseada na evidência (Stefl, 2008).
Muitas teorias e modelos estratégicos são aplicados no ambiente organizacional (Stefl, 2008). A prática de um estilo eficiente de liderança permite completar a produtividade desejada num ambiente de trabalho harmonioso.
Objetivo: A presente revisão narrativa tem como objetivo abordar a capacidade de gestão de um Consultório Dentário com foco em duas premissas fundamentais, a Motivação e a Liderança.
The motivation and leadership are the main tools to best understand human behavior in the workplace. These two allow policies and strategies elaboration that make management practices viable. The knowledge of these topics must be considered as a competence to match the growing supply of oral health goods and services, and the complexity of the environment (Moore et al., 2015; Stefl, 2008). Overcoming business challenges and increasing productivity are tasks that are increasingly present in organizations, that requires preparation to assume different levels of directive responsibility, which demands a better management of their resources (Corrêa et al., 2013). It is expected from the oral health professionals, measurable results, efficiency and evidence based management practice (Stefl, 2008). Many theories and strategic models are applied in the organizational environment (Stefl, 2008). The practice of an efficient leadership style allows to complete productivity in a harmonious work environment. Objective: This narrative review intends to address the management capacity of a Dental Office focusing on two fundamental premises, Motivation and Leadership.
