A investigação tem como objetivo dar a conhecer a possível influência que a Arte Urbana pode ter sobre o Design Gráfico.
A partir de uma análise feita às áreas da Tipografia, do Design Gráfico e da Arte Urbana, são dadas a conhecer as origens, o enquadramento social, o seu impacto na sociedade e diversas técnicas utilizadas em cada uma, a partir das quais são feitos paralelismos que relacionam as três áreas estudadas.
A investigação tem como Caso de Estudo o coletivo Half Studio, coletivo que trabalha à base de lettering, e que usa as suas peças para transmitir mensagens positivas à sociedade.
São ainda criadas relações e paralelismos entre o próprio coletivo Half Studio e outras correntes artísticas, artistas ou técnicas, de maneira a encontrar semelhanças entre os artistas estudados e outros que pratiquem técnicas semelhantes.
Através do foco no coletivo Half Studio e nas suas peças, sublinha-se a integração única da Arte Urbana no Design Gráfico como uma expressão autêntica. Os paralelismos estabelecidos entre o coletivo e outras correntes, como o Sign Painting e a Pop Art, enriquecem a compreensão das diversas técnicas e afins. Assim, este estudo oferece uma percepção valiosa sobre as diversas dinâmicas interligadas entre a Arte Urbana, o Design Gráfico, a Tipografia e expressões artísticas relacionadas, ressaltando a sua relevância contemporânea.
The research aims to make known the possible influence that Street Art can have on Graphic Design and Typography. Based on an analysis of the different areas addressed, the origins, a social framework, their impact on society and the various techniques used in each one are made known, from which parallels are made that lead to comparisons between the three areas. studied. The research has as a Case Study the collective Half Studio, a collective that works based on lettering, and that uses its pieces in order to transmit positive messages to society. Relationships and parallels are also created between the Half Studio collective itself and other artistic currents, artists or techniques, in order to find similarities between the artists studied and others who practice similar techniques. Through the focus on the Half Studio and its pieces, the unique integration of Street Art in Graphic Design as an authentic expression is highlighted. The parallels established between the collective and other currents, such as Sign Painting and Pop Art, enrich the understanding of the different techniques and so. This study offers valuable insight into the various interconnected dynamics between Street Art, Graphic Design, Typography and related artistic expressions, highlighting their contemporary relevance.
