| dc.description.abstract | Em Portugal, e na Europa existe um envelhecimento da população, traduzindo-se este num maior número de pessoas dependentes e com problemas de saúde, nomeadamente pro-blemas respiratórios afetando assim a qualidade de vida destas. Este relatório pretende descrever e avaliar a efetividade de um programa de Reeduca-ção Funcional Respiratória na resolução da limpeza das vias aéreas de forma a prevenir compli-cações, num Serviço de Medicina. A população estudada foi composta por oito pessoas e os instrumentos de avaliação utilizados foram o pico de fluxo de tosse, a versão abreviada pela Organização Mundial de Saúde, do WHOQOL -100, o WHOQOL – bref e a Escala da Medical Re-search Council (MRC) modificada. Após a implementação do programa, concluiu-se que existiu uma melhoria significativa no nível dos valores do pico de fluxo de tosse e consequentemente nos graus de dispneia e qualidade de vida das pessoas incluídas no estudo. | pt_PT |
| dc.description.abstract | In Portugal, and in Europe, there is an aging population, which translates into a greater number of people who are dependent and have health problems, such as respiratory problems, thus affecting their quality of life. This report aims to describe and evaluate the effectiveness of a Respiratory Functional Re-education program in the resolution of airway clearance in order to prevent complications in a Medical Service. The study population consisted of eight people and the evaluation instru-ments used were the peak cough flow, the short version of the WHOQOL-100, the WHOQOL-bref and the Medical Research Scale Council (MRC). After the implementation of the program, it was concluded that there was a significant improvement in the level of peak cough flow values and consequently the dyspnea and quality of life of the people included in the study. | pt_PT |
