O presente relatório de estágio de natureza profissional espelha o
desenvolvimento de competências clínicas especializadas, evidenciando a
conceção de cuidados nas áreas de atenção sensíveis aos cuidados de
enfermagem especializados em Saúde Materna e Obstétrica. Este relatório
reflete todas as experiências clínicas vivenciadas numa abordagem crítico
reflexiva remetendo para a prática baseada em evidência, tendo como objetivo
descrever e analisar, o percurso e processo de aprendizagem no âmbito da
aquisição e desenvolvimento das competências específicas do Enfermeiro
Especialista em Enfermagem de Saúde Materna e Obstétrica, preconizadas pela
Ordem dos Enfermeiros segundo Regulamento de Competências n.º391/2019.
A realização do estágio de natureza profissional assume um papel crucial, na
medida que estimula a procura e mobilização de conhecimentos teóricos
baseados na mais recente evidência científica, sustentando a tomada de decisão
da prática clínica do Enfermeiro Especialista em Enfermagem de Saúde Materna
e Obstétrica. Neste contexto, o estágio proporciona, o desenvolvimento e
aquisição de competências no que respeita à identificação de diagnósticos e à
implementação de intervenções de enfermagem na área especializada da saúde
materna e obstétrica, focalizando-se nas necessidades da mulher ao longo do
seu ciclo, assim como nos cuidados ao recém-nascido saudável ou de risco.
Reconhecendo a importância do papel do Enfermeiro Especialista em
Enfermagem de Saúde Materna e Obstétrica na promoção e proteção do
aleitamento materno, torna-se primordial aprofundar os conhecimentos sobre os
efeitos da administração de ocitocina sintética durante o trabalho de parto na
amamentação. A realização de uma revisão narrativa da literatura neste domínio,
corrobora que, o uso de ocitocina sintética durante o trabalho de parto parece
estar negativamente correlacionado com o sucesso do aleitamento materno,
provavelmente devido a uma diminuição dos reflexos neonatais primitivos e da
ligação materno-infantil. Esta permite uma compreensão mais detalhada da
temática em estudo, contribuindo para a melhoria da qualidade dos cuidados
prestados pelos Enfermeiros Especialistas em Enfermagem de Saúde Materna e Obstétrica, capacitando-os para o exercício das suas funções sustentadas pela
melhor e mais recente evidência científica.
This professional internship report reflects the development of specialized clinical skills, highlighting the design of care in areas of care that are sensitive to specialized nursing care in Maternal and Obstetric Health. This report reflects all the clinical experiences in a critical reflective approach, referring to evidencebased practice. The professional internship plays a crucial role, as it stimulates the search for and mobilization of theoretical knowledge based on the latest scientific evidence, supporting decision-making in the clinical practice of the Maternal and Obstetric Health Nurse Specialist. In this context, the internship provides the development and acquisition of skills in identifying diagnoses and implementing nursing interventions in the specialized area of maternal and obstetric health, focusing on the needs of women throughout their cycle, as well as care for healthy or at-risk newborns. Recognizing the importance of the Maternal and Obstetric Health Nurse Specialist's role in promoting and protecting breastfeeding, it is essential to deepen our knowledge of the effects of administering synthetic oxytocin during labor on breastfeeding. Carrying out an integrative literature review in this field will allow for a more detailed understanding of the subject under study, contributing to improving the quality of care provided by Maternal and Obstetric Health Nurse Specialists, enabling them to carry out their duties supported by the best and most recent scientific evidence.
