Abstract(s)
O presente trabalho centra-se no estudo das variáveis estilo de liderança e assédio
moral no âmbito organizacional, sendo o seu objetivo principal compreender a possível
relação existente entre estas, bem como abordar à luz da literatura existente os efeitos
psicossomáticos do assédio em suas vítimas. De um modo mais específico, pretende-se
verificar qual estilo de liderança poderá estar mais fortemente associado à ocorrência de
assédio moral.
Através desta investigação intenciona-se demonstrar a importância desta temática para
as organizações, que representa um problema tanto a nível de gestão, pois o assédio moral
reflete nos índices de produtividade, no clima organizacional e nos níveis de satisfação dos
colaboradores, quanto a nível económico, pois pode desencadear uma série de prejuízos tanto
no capital financeiro, como no capital humano das empresas.
The present work aims to study the variables of leadership style and moral harassment in the organizational scope, being the main objective to understand the possible relationship between them. More specifically, it is intended to verify which leadership style may be more strongly associated with the occurrence of moral harassment, as well as the psychosomatic effects of harassment on its victims. By employing this investigation, the author means to demonstrate the importance of this topic in light of the organizational structure, that represents a problem both at the management level, because moral harassment is reflected in the productivity indices, organizational climate and levels of satisfaction, as well in the economic level as it can trigger a series of financial losses for companies.
