Abstract(s)
Ao longo do tempo, a segurança e saúde no trabalho tem vindo a evoluir, está a
caminhar para uma posição em que algumas empresas começam a compreender e olhar
para a segurança e saúde no trabalho como algo mais do que cumprir com os requisitos
legais, nomeadamente, como uma área que traz benefícios. No entanto, o que fazer
quando as estratégias de consciencialização em segurança parecem não alcançar os seus
objetivos ou quando ocorrem acidentes com baixa devido a causas relacionadas com o
comportamento humano?
Nesse sentido, o presente estudo tem como principal objetivo analisar formas de
incentivar os colaboradores a assumirem comportamentos seguros, numa empresa do
sector automóvel, com vista a desenvolver propostas de melhoria para evitar eventuais
incidentes ou acidentes de trabalho. Este estudo pode dar indicadores para outras
empresas.
Partindo de uma revisão da literatura sobre os temas em questão, seguiu-se a
recolha e análise de documentos da empresa que possibilitaram a caracterização do
contexto em que o estudo foi desenvolvido. Através da realização de um focus group,
composto por participantes de áreas diferentes, foram recolhidos dados qualitativos.
Estes dados foram tratados com base na análise de conteúdo.
Dos dados obtidos, destacou-se os exemplos de “cima”, não só porque podem
contribuir para a adoção de comportamentos seguros, como a falta dos mesmos pode ser
um obstáculo e foram apresentados igualmente como uma das medidas para a sua
eliminação ou minimização.
Over the time, health and safety at work has come a long way, is moving towards a position where some companies are beginning to understand and look for health and safety at work as something more than comply with legal requirements, particular as an area that brings benefits. However, what to do when the safety awareness strategies do not seem to achieve their goals or when there are accidents with sick leave due to causes related to human behavior? In this sense, the present study aims to examine ways to encourage employees to take safe behaviors in an automotive company, to develop proposals for improvement to avoid possible incidents or accidents. This study can give indicators for other companies. Proceeding from the literature review of the issues in question, was followed the collection and analysis of company documents that were used to define the context in which the study was conducted. By conducting a focus group, composed of participants from different areas, qualitative data were collected. These data were analyzed based on content analysis. From the data obtained, highlighted the "up" examples, not only because they can contribute to the adoption of safe behaviors such as lack thereof can be an obstacle and were also presented as one of the measures for their elimination or minimization.
