| dc.description.abstract | O presente projeto de investigação tem como temática: “A importância do espaço exterior na creche e no jardim de infância. O principal objetivo foi compreender como estavam organizados os espaços exteriores dos contextos de estágio, interpretar as conceções e o sentido pedagógico que as educadoras de infância atribuíam a esses espaços. O estudo foi desenvolvido na creche e no jardim de infância, em que realizei os momentos de estágio no âmbito do Mestrado em Educação Pré-Escolar, concretizado através das observações e experiências que aconteceram durante este percurso. Metodologicamente, este projeto inscreve-se no paradigma interpretativo orientado por uma investigação qualitativa baseada na abordagem investigação-ação. Neste processo foi fundamental fazer opções no que concerne aos procedimentos de recolha da informação. Privilegiaram-se como técnicas de recolha de dados, a observação participante e não participante, as notas de campo, a fotografia, os inquéritos por questionário e a análise documental. Foram estas técnicas que permitiram compreender a prática pedagógica das educadoras e fazer as propostas de intervenção. Este estudo permitiu compreender que apesar de o espaço exterior ser valorizado pelas educadoras cooperantes, é um espaço ainda pouco dinamizado e organizado pelas educadoras e pouco utilizado pelas crianças. Sendo o educador de infância gestor do currículo e responsável pela organização dos espaços e materiais do contexto educativo, deve valorizar o espaço exterior como potencializador de desenvolvimento e aprendizagem da mesma forma que valoriza o espaço sala. | pt_PT |
| dc.description.abstract | The present investigation project falls on “The importance of outer space in day-care and kindergarten.” The main point was to understand how outer spaces were organized in the context of the internship, to interpret the conceptions and the pedagogical sense that childhood educators attributed to these spaces. The study was developed at the day-care and at the kindergarten, in which I performed my internship in scope of my Master in Pre-School Education, reached through observations and experiences that have taken place during this course. Methodologically, this project subscribes to the interpretive paradigm guided by a qualitative investigation based on the action-research approach. In this process, it was fundamental to make choices regarding procedures for collecting information. Participant and non-participant observation, field notes, photography, questionnaire surveys and documentary analysis were preferred as data collection techniques. These were the techniques which allowed to understand the pedagogical practice of educators and make the intervention proposals. This study allowed us to understand that although the outer space is valued by the cooperative educators, it is a space still little invigorated and organized by educators and little used by children. Being the childhood educator the manager of the curriculum and responsible for the organization of outer spaces and educative context materials, he should value the outer space as a learning enhancer in the same way that he values the inner space. | pt_PT |
