Abstract(s)
Cada vez mais, a Força Aérea tem a necessidade crescente de recorrer à indústria, tendo
esta a oportunidade para se desenvolver ou abrir novas oportunidades de negócio com a
FAP.
A FAP tem vivido um período de renovação dos seus sistemas de armas, através da
aquisição de novas plataformas e da modernização das existentes. As contrapartidas,
que daí advêm, criam novas oportunidades para a Indústria Nacional, que deverá
aproveita-las para se expandir.
Por outro lado, o nível tecnológico dos novos sistemas de aeronaves, os novos requisitos
para a manutenção das aeronaves assim como os custos envolvidos, fazem com que seja
cada vez mais difícil para a FAP garantir uma manutenção eficaz das suas aeronaves.
Por conseguinte, o recorrer às capacidades da Indústria Nacional deverá ser o caminho a
percorrer.
Pelo anteriormente descrito, a relação entre a FAP e a Indústria Nacional deverá
estreitar-se, havendo necessidade de rever o tipo de relacionamento e o “modus
operandi” entre ambos, tendo em atenção o desenvolvimento da indústria e a
operacionalidade necessária a uma Força Aérea.
Neste trabalho expõe-se algumas abordagens possíveis às relações entre a Força Aérea e
a IAN, sendo que algumas já estão a ser levadas a cabo e outras poderão no sê-lo a
breve trecho, caso se manifestem benéficas para ambas as partes. Abstract: Air Force feels, more and more, an increasing need of industry, being this a way for
industry to develop itself or to establish new opportunities of business with FAP.
FAP has been renewing its weapons system, either through the acquisition of new
platforms or the modernization of the ones already existent. The benefits of this is the
the opportunity for the national industry to develop itself and grow.
On the other hand, the technological level of the new aircraft system, the new
requirements to the aircraft maintenance as well as the costs involved in this, make it
more difficult to FAP to guarantee efficiency. Therefore making use of the national
industry sources must be the way.
For all this, the relationship between those must be narrower, and a revision of its
modus operandi" must be done, having in mind the benefits for both.
In this essay we present some possible approaches to provide this relation. Some of
them are already being applied; others can be developed in a near future, if they reveal
benefits for both parts.
