As temáticas abordadas nestas investigação unem-se com o propósito de demonstrar se é possível a desconstrução e sistematização dos sistemas de identidade visual nas companhias de dança contemporânea.
Por tratar-se de uma investigação transdisciplicar, relaciona-se a dança contemporânea, caracterizada pela ruptura com a linearidade presente no movimento clássico através da lógica e pragmaticidade do design sob o ponto de vista da comunicação visual.
Desta maneira, a dissertação intitulada, ‘Contributos sobre as Tendências dos Sistemas de Identidade Visual dos Grupos de Dança Contemporânea’ aborda questões relativas a imagem bem como inquire-se sobre os elementos existentes no brand language das companhias de dança contemporânea e dentro deles quais são preponderantes.
Por conseguinte, esta dissertação é composta pelo desenvolvimento teórico sobre os temas relacionados ao design e cultural visual transversalmente à dança contemporânea concluindo-se na forma de estudos de caso múltiplos no qual pretende-se aplicar os conhecimentos de maneira à pragmatizar as teorias e conceitos investigados. Paralelamente, são contrapostos exemplos que se destinam a solidificar as tendências visuais encontradas.
The themes addresses in this research are linked and aims to demonstrate whether it is possible to deconstruct and systematize the visual identity systems in contemporary dance companies. Considering it is a transdiciplinary investigation, that relates contemporary dance, which is based on the rupture with the linearity present in the classical dance movement, through the logic and pragmaticity of the design from the perspective of visual communication. Hence, the dissertation entitled ‘Contributions on the visual trends of the visual identity systems of contemporary dance groups’ deals with issues related to the image as well as inquires about the elements existing in the brand language of contemporary dance companies and within which elements are preponderate. Therefore, this dissertation is composed by the theoretical development on themes related to the visual and cultural design crossing to the contemporary dance field concluding in the form of a case study in which it is intended to apply the knowledge in a way to pragmatize the theories and concepts investigated. At the same time, examples are used to solidify the visual tendencies encountered.
