Abstract(s)

A arquitectura rural galega desde os anos 60 sufriu grandes transformacións debido a implantación de novos modelos con influencias doutros lugares traídas polos emigrantes. Novos materias, técnicas construtivas industriais e un acelerado proceso de industrialización do campo, afectará a unha transcendental crise dos valores tradicionais o que se plasmara nunha deterioración do patrimonio vernáculo. Estes cambios afectaran o entorno da casa. Propóñense uns obxectivos coa finalidade de establecer as características da arquitectura doméstica actual e dos elementos disonantes para establecer uns principios que contribúan para a rehabilitación. Procúrase identificar os procesos de transformación que afectan a casa rural da aldea de Vilar de Donas dende os seus inicios ata a actualidade. Paralelamente, analizase a lóxica de formación, evolución histórica e transformación da propia aldea. O tipo de investigación é un caso de estudio que comprende o conxunto de 14 casas pertencentes a aldea de Vilar de Donas. A metodoloxía realizase en catro fases: a planificación, a recollida e análise de datos, o tratamento dos datos e sistematización. Esta investigación estruturase en cinco partes: introdución, revisión da literatura, análise de contido, sistematización dos datos obtidos e conclusión. Este estudo pretende constituír unha aportación o coñecemento dos principais actores causantes da problemática actual e contén os elementos necesarios para identificar os elementos disonantes na arquitectura doméstica, imprescindibles para futuras intervencións que combatan o desequilibrio existente na arquitectura rural e no seu entorno. Especificamente, pretendese que a principal contribución desta investigación sexa a realización duns principios que permitan inverter o proceso de descaracterización da aldea.
Abstract: Since the 60s, the Galician rural architecture has suffered major transformations due to the introduction of new models with foreign influences brought by immigrants. New materials, industrial construction techniques and the accelerated process of industrialization of the countryside will later originated a transcendental crisis of traditional values that manifested itself in a deterioration of the vernacular heritage. These changes affected the domestic environment. The objective is to identify the characteristics of the current domestic architecture and the dissonant elements to establish principles that contribute to the village rehabilitation. One to the goals is to identify the transformation processes that affect rural houses in Vilar de Donas from its beginnings to the nowadays. At the same time, the logic of origin, historical evolution and transformation of the village are analyzed. This research is a case study that includes a set of 14 houses belonging to the village of Vilar de Donas. The methodology is performed in four phases: planning, data collection and analysis, data processing and systematization. This study is structured in five parts: introduction, literature review, content analysis, systematization of the data obtained and conclusions. This research intends to be a contribution to the knowledge of the key causes to the current difficulties and contains the necessary elements to identify the dissonant elements in domestic architecture, trying to tackle the imbalance in rural architecture and its surroundings in future interventions. Fundamental, the main contribution of research is to write in is the definition of some principles to reverse the process of mischaracterization village.
