Abstract(s)
ACT to change-A school for all, is a project of education for pluralism and inclusion of LGBT people-Lesbians, Gays, bisexuals and Transsexuals, in order to promote a positive visibility in middle school, and consequently on society. Arises from a case study, an investigation of a practice-oriented perspective or under the Sociocrítico paradigm. It is assumed that the school plays a key role in the construction of gender identity, and that is from establishing interactions with the environment around them, that children and young people claim in terms of sexual orientation. Noting that it is in the context of education, both teachers, as school directors, has a greater responsibility to the Orient for a just society, democratic and pluralistic. This project aims to engage students, teachers and the directors of two of the poles of the Professional Gustave Eiffel School (Queluz-Sintra Municipality and Lumiar-municipality of Lisbon), and aims to be a contribution to promote a safe environment and facilitator in school context, empowering students and educators for a pluralist and democratic society with a focus on sexual orientation and gender identity. .
