O sector bancário tem uma inegável importância estratégica nacional dado ser um sector
transversal a toda a economia e onde a análise de risco das empresas, em especial das
PME´s, se reveste de uma importância crescente na gestão das Instituições Financeiras,
dado o contexto actual, que é caracterizado por uma elevado incremento da imparidades de
credito neste segmento de mercado, pressão política para dar crédito à economia via
credito às PME, reduzida liquidez das instituições de crédito a que acresce obrigações de
desalavancagem dos balanços dos Bancos.
O trabalho desenvolvido tem como objectivo alertar para a importância que a análise da
Demonstração dos Fluxos de Caixa se reveste no momento actual, identificando as valiosas
pistas de interpretação que se poderá aferir sobre a liquidez e solvabilidade sustentada das
empresas, informação que só através da análise do Balanço e Demonstração de Resultados,
não é de tão fácil e imediata observação, pelo que a análise da DFC constitui uma mais valia
para a formação de opinião dos analistas de risco das Instituições Financeiras. Para além de
uma breve revisão de literatura sobre a temática abordada, avançamos com a interpretação
de indicadores e de quatro rácios que se construíram com base na informação obtida pela
Demonstração Fluxos Caixa, com a respectiva interpretação e conclusões possíveis.
Como a base deste trabalho, foi efectuado em ambiente profissional, são apresentados
dados contabilísticos de três empresas reais, para as quais se efectuou a aplicação dos
conceitos, indicadores e rácios estudados, efectuou-se a sua análise e interpretação dos
resultados obtidos e sinais de alarme referenciados, e como conclusão, é referida a
evolução que ocorreu nas empresas apresentadas.
The banking sector is of unquestionable national strategic importance due to its crosssectional nature in the economy, and the risk analysis of companies, in particular SMEs, is of increasing importance in the management of financial institutions, given the current context, which is characterized by a large increase in credit impairments in this market segment, political pressure to give credit to the economy by giving credit to SMEs, reduced liquidity of credit institutions which adds obligations of bank’s balance deleveraging. The work aims to raise awareness of the importance that the analysis of the Statement of Cash Flows lining up at present, identifying valuable clues for interpretation that can measure about the liquidity and solvency of the companies sustained, information that only by analyzing Balance Sheet and Income Statement, it is not so easy and immediate observation, and the analysis of SCF is an added value to the risk analysts of a financial institution. Apart from a brief literature review on the topic discussed, we move forward with the interpretation of indicators and four ratios that were built based on the information obtained by the Statement Cash Flows, with their interpretation and possible conclusions. This work was carried out in a professional environment, accounting data are presented for three real companies, which was conducted for the application of concepts, indicators and ratios studied, made up their analysis and interpretation of results and signs of alarm referenced, and as a conclusion, describe the evolution that occurred in the companies presented.
