Abstract(s)
comentados.
This thesis will shine a light on the history of the synchronous reluctance machine and its operating principle. It is also presented the general characteristics of the machine, as well as the equivalent circuit and the mathematical model that defines it. In the development of this work, the program chosen was the Finite Element Method Magnetics (FEMM) to analyse the distribution of the magnetic fields, of the flux and the torque of the models of the machine. To utilize this program, it was necessary to previously draw the constructive topologies of the machine and it was required to characterize all the materials that composed the machine, in order to be able to simulate different regimes. Initially, three topologies of study would be presented, however, with the development of the work, it was considered interesting to present two construtive variants of one of them. Those variant models, have the goal to analyse the possibility of improvement of the torque, using the differences of the barriers material. The three initial topologies show constructive differences, which can go from the number of barriers to the variation of the dimension. In the simulation process for the studied topologies, data was obtained that characterize the machine, regarding its magnetization and torque, having these results been presented and commented.
