Abstract(s)
do mundo.
apresentando inovações face a exemplos estudados.
According to the UN statement (2023), the world's population is rapidly aging in all regions of the world. This is a phenomenon that, not being temporary, requires economic and social responses as well as plans in the areas of health and equipment design. The "ELO" project, developed in the context of this research, presented as a Project Report, proposes a typology of urban furniture to fill an identified gap - the lack of equipment in urban environments that address the needs of the elderly population and contribute to their quality of life by promoting socialization. All of this is aimed at stimulating group socialization and combating social isolation in the elderly and other related problems. The applied methodology involved research and data collection on population aging, their needs, methods of social inclusion, and active aging, as well as data collection through surveys. This initial data collection served as a starting point for the development of equipment that meets the main needs of the target audience, presenting innovations compared to the studied examples.
