Abstract(s)
O cerne da dissertação, em apreço neste documento, tem como propósito principal a
melhoria do atual modelo de gestão estratégica em vigor na Escola Naval – o BalancScorecard.
Este objetivo é conseguido através da metodologia Mlearn, que se apoia naperspetiva Business Process Management, oferecendo um vasto conjunto de vantagens.
Dentro desta gama é de enaltecer a atualização e a revisão dos pilares de sustentação destaorganização, conferindo o alinhamento da estratégia com a instituição e proporcionando caminho para a creditação dos cursos.
A utilidade deste trabalho espelha-se, assim, em duas vertentes distintas: se por umlado economizamos na melhoria dos recursos internos disponíveis à Escola Naval, em
detrimento das drásticas renovações, por outro, conseguimos exemplificar um modelo
geral, onde aplicamos a Mlearn às bases práticas do Balance Scorecard. Deste modo, fazendo uso das perspetivas de gestão e das metodologias em conjunto, apresentamos estecaso de estudo, que demonstra ser não só de grande interesse para a Escola Naval, comotambém de inovação para a Comunidade BPM e MLearn.
The main purpose of this dissertation is the improvement of the current strategic management model in place at the Naval Academy - the Balance Scorecard. This goal is achieved by the use of Mlearn methodology, which is based on Business Process Management perspective, offering a wide range of advantages. Within this range, it is worth to be praised the update and the revision of the piers of this organization, conferring the alignment of the strategy with the institution and providing the path for the accreditation of courses. According to this, the usefulness of this work can be observed in two different ways: on the one hand we save in the improvement of the internal resources available to the Naval Academy (in damage of drastic renovations), on the other, we exemplify a general model, where we apply the Mlearn to a practical basis of the Balance Scorecard. Thus, and using these management perspectives and methodologies jointly, we present this study case, which is not only of a great interest to the Naval Academy, but also as an innovation for the BPM Community and MLearn.
