| dc.description.abstract | Este estudo intitulado de “Os Snipers no apoio às Forças Convencionais” incide no emprego da capacidade Sniper no seio das Forças Convencionais contextualizada nos Batalhões de Infantaria. O objetivo desta investigação é analisar a forma de emprego das equipas Sniper em proveito dos Batalhões de Infantaria e ao mesmo tempo identificar as suas principais missões e tarefas, constatando de que forma contribuem para o cumprimento das missões das unidades apoiadas. Para a realização deste trabalho foi usado uma metodologia baseada na obra “Manual de Investigação em Ciências Sociais” da autoria de Raymond Quivy e Luc Van Campenhoudt, que foi adaptada à dimensão e problemática da investigação. A recolha de informação teve por base a análise documental, de dados e entrevistas. O estudo tem início com uma sustentação teórica onde é feita uma abordagem ao atual Ambiente Operacional fazendo, entre outras, uma referência às suas principais características e às novas ameaças. Seguidamente é feita alusão ao Batalhão de Infantaria e à capacidade Sniper, onde se destaca a tipologia de operações e de empenhamento dos mesmos. Na sequência da investigação, surge o trabalho de campo que contempla a apresentação, análise e discussão dos resultados obtidos. Finalmente, são apresentadas as conclusões onde se destaca que, face a todas as condicionantes, envolventes e características do atual Ambiente Operacional, a operacionalização da capacidade Sniper em apoio dos Batalhões de Infantaria contribui significativamente para o desenvolvimento e implementação de medidas de proteção e segurança da força, colmatando as suas limitações e concorrendo para que o cumprimento das suas missões seja efetuado de uma forma mais eficiente. | por |
| dc.description.abstract | Abstract This study titled "The Snipers in support of Conventional Forces" focuses on Sniper employment within Conventional Forces contextualized in the Infantry Battalions. The goal of this research is to analyze the employment form of Sniper teams for the benefit of the Infantry Battalions and at the same time identify its main missions and tasks, verifying in what way it contributes to the fulfillment of the tasks of the units supported. For the realization of this work was used a methodology based on the work "Manual de Investigação em Ciências Sociais" authored by Raymond Quivy and Luc Van Campenhoudt, which was adapted to the context and research issues. The information gathering was based on documentary analysis and interviews. The study begins with a theoretical support where it is made an approach to the current Operating Environment by, among others, a reference to their main features and new threats. Then is made allusion to the Infantry Battalion and the Sniper capability, where stands the typology of operations and commitment. Following the investigation, the field work that includes the presentation, analysis and discussion of the results obtained. Finally, conclusions are presented where stands that, in the face of all the constraints, the current characteristics and surrounding Operational Environment, the operationalization of the Sniper capability in support of Infantry Battalions contributes significantly to the development and implementation of security and protection measures of strength, closing its limitations and competing for the fulfillment of their missions to be carried out more efficiently. | por |
