O presente estudo tem como objetivo saber qual a importância atribuída ao papel do Animador Sociocultural na Inclusão das crianças com Necessidades Educativas Especiais no 1.º e 2.º ciclo do Ensino Básico, tendo por base um estudo de caso.
A Animação Sociocultural baseia-se num conjunto de técnicas e alicerces capazes de levar os públicos a serem ativos no seu próprio desenvolvimento, tanto a nível pessoal como social. Trabalhando diretamente com crianças com Necessidades Educativas Especiais, e envolvendo toda a comunidade educativa, a ASC pretende levar a uma consciencialização e uma inclusão de todos os grupos.
Nesta investigação, que tem por base um estudo de caso num Agrupamento de Escolas onde não existe Animador Sociocultural, pretendemos obter dos entrevistados um ponto de vista crítico face à presente situação, mostrando a importância do papel do Animador Sociocultural na inclusão e desenvolvimento pessoal de cada individuo, recorrendo às expressões artísticas como meio de comunicação.
A escola tem um papel fundamental na formação da criança, tanto a nível educativo como pessoal e social, sendo a inclusão um meio de reconhecimento e aceitação pela diferença. Podemos verificar com esta investigação que é atribuído ao Animador Sociocultural um papel importante na inclusão das crianças com Necessidades Educativas Especiais.
The present study aims to find out how important the role of the Sociocultural Animator is in the Inclusion of children with Special Needs in elementary and middle school, based on a case study. Sociocultural Animation is based on a series of techniques and foundations capable of making audiences active in their own development, both personally and socially. Working directly with children with special educational needs, and involving the entire educational community, ASC aims to raise awareness and inclusion of all groups. In this research, which is based on a case study in a Grouping of Schools where there is no Sociocultural Animator, we intend to obtain from the interviewees a critical point of view regarding the present situation, showing the importance of the role of the Sociocultural Animator in the inclusion and personal development of each individual, using the artistic expression as a mean of communication. The school has a fundamental role in the education of the child, educationally, personally and socially, being the inclusion a means of recognition and acceptance by difference. We can verify with this investigation that the Sociocultural Animator has an important role in the inclusion of children with Special Needs.
