Este relatório visa abordar a trajetória em estágio clínico, destacando o processo de
aprendizagem direcionado à obtenção do grau de Mestre em Enfermagem Médico-Cirúrgica na
área da pessoa em situação perioperatória.
O Enfermeiro Especialista em Enfermagem Médico-Cirúrgica à Pessoa em Situação
Perioperatória assume papel central na otimização da gestão de cuidados, na pessoa e
família/pessoa significativa a vivenciarem processos de saúde / doença e que necessitam de
procedimentos cirúrgicos e anestésicos, em ambiente perioperatório (Diário da República,
2018). Considerando a dependência do setor de saúde de recursos humanos qualificados, é
evidente a necessidade de investimento em capital humano para garantir qualidade, eficiência e
produtividade nos cuidados de saúde (Lopes et al., 2018).
O Conselho Internacional de Enfermagem (ICN) destaca a importância de enfermeiros com
formação avançada, enfatizando a aquisição de conhecimentos especializados e competências
clínicas para práticas avançadas (LOPES et al., 2018). Nesse contexto, o Mestrado em
Enfermagem Médico-Cirúrgica, na área de Enfermagem à Pessoa em Situação Perioperatória,
constitui a base para o desenvolvimento de competências específicas do Enfermeiro Especialista
nesta área.
O estágio, realizado em ambiente hospitalar, nomeadamente no bloco operatório central e de
especialidades, proporcionou a aplicação prática dos conhecimentos adquiridos. A análise crítica
de casos clínicos, desenvolvidos na plataforma "e4nursing" com base na Ontologia em
Enfermagem, possibilitou aprofundar a compreensão das necessidades dos clientes,
nomeadamente aos submetidos a cirurgia de mama.
O projeto individual, inicialmente planeado para analisar a transmissão de informações no
perioperatório, foi adaptado devido a desafios burocráticos. No entanto, essa adaptação
permitiu a colheita de dados significativos durante o estágio clínico, contribuindo para a
identificação de necessidades específicas dos clientes submetidos à cirurgia de mama, dando
resposta à questão norteadora e intenção principal do projeto.
A transmissão eficaz de informações no perioperatório, crucial para a qualidade dos cuidados de
enfermagem, emerge como um objetivo central. A ausência de uma consulta de enfermagem
perioperatória na instituição destaca uma lacuna, e o projeto almeja preenchê-la, melhorando a
estruturação da informação durante a consulta. O projeto salienta as reais necessidades de
preparação e conhecimento dos clientes submetidos à cirurgia de mama, fundamentadas na
evidência científica. A síntese final reflete sobre o desafio enfrentado durante o estágio, evidenciando o crescimento
profissional e pessoal, assim como as mudanças nos paradigmas e atitudes em relação à
enfermagem perioperatória. A aplicação prática das competências do enfermeiro especialista
em enfermagem médico-cirúrgica à pessoa em situação perioperatória, evidenciada nos casos
clínicos, no projeto adaptado e no acompanhamento perioperatório, ilustra um desenvolvimento
contínuo. A busca incessante pela melhoria dos cuidados, alinhada à evidência científica,
caracteriza a evolução na compreensão e prática da enfermagem perioperatória.
Em resumo, o relatório oferece uma visão abrangente da jornada do enfermeiro especialista em
enfermagem médico-cirúrgica à pessoa em situação perioperatória, destacando a integração
entre teoria e prática, a adaptação a desafios, a aplicação de competências específicas e o
compromisso com a melhoria contínua dos cuidados perioperatórios. O projeto, apesar dos
obstáculos, destaca-se como uma ferramenta crucial para otimizar a transmissão de
informações, preencher lacunas e alinhar a prática às melhores evidências científicas.
This report aims to address the trajectory in clinical internship, highlighting the learning process aimed at obtaining a Master’s Degree in Medical-Surgical Nursing in the area of People in Perioperative Situations. The Nurse Specialist in Medical-Surgical Nursing for Persons in a Perioperative Situation assumes a central role in optimizing care management, for the person and family/significant other experiencing health/disease processes and requiring surgical and anesthetic procedures, in a perioperative environment (Republic Diary, 2018). Considering the health sector's dependence on qualified human resources, the need for investment in human capital to ensure quality, efficiency and productivity in health care is evident (Lopes et al., 2018). The International Nursing Council (ICN) highlights the importance of nurses with advanced training, emphasizing the acquisition of specialized knowledge and clinical skills for advanced practices (LOPES et al., 2018). In this context, the Master's Degree in Medical-Surgical Nursing, in the area of Nursing for People in Perioperative Situations, constitutes the basis for the development of specific skills of the Specialist Nurse in this area. The internship, carried out in a hospital environment, namely in the central and specialty operating room, provided practical application of the knowledge acquired. The critical analysis of clinical cases, developed on the "e4nursing" platform based on Nursing Ontology, made it possible to deepen the understanding of clients' needs, particularly those undergoing breast surgery. The individual project, initially planned to analyze the transmission of information in the perioperative period, was adapted due to bureaucratic challenges. However, this adaptation allowed the collection of significant data during the clinical stage, contributing to the identification of specific needs of clients undergoing breast surgery, responding to the guiding question and main intention of the project. The effective transmission of information in the perioperative period, crucial for the quality of nursing care, emerges as a central objective. The absence of a perioperative nursing consultation at the institution highlights a gap, and the project aims to fill it, improving the structuring of information during the consultation. The project highlights the real preparation and knowledge needs of clients undergoing breast surgery, based on scientific evidence. The final synthesis reflects on the challenge faced during the internship, highlighting professional and personal growth, as well as changes in paradigms and attitudes towards perioperative nursing. The practical application of the specialist nurse's skills in medical-surgical nursing to the person in a perioperative situation, evidenced in the clinical cases, in the adapted project and in the perioperative monitoring, illustrates continuous development. The incessant search for improved care, in line with scientific evidence, characterizes the evolution in the understanding and practice of perioperative nursing. In summary, the report offers a comprehensive view of the journey from the specialist nurse in medical-surgical nursing to the person in the perioperative situation, highlighting the integration between theory and practice, adaptation to challenges, the application of specific skills and the commitment to continuous improvement of perioperative care . The project, despite the obstacles, stands out as a crucial tool to optimize the transmission of information, fill gaps and align practice with the best scientific evidence.
