| dc.description.abstract | Sendo considerado um dos sectores da indústria onde os acidentes mais acontecem, segundo o GEP/MTSS, o presente estudo tem como objectivo a análise das causas e circunstâncias em que os acidentes de trabalho mais ocorrem. Para que seja contextualizado o respectivo estudo, far-se-á um enquadramento geológico referente à morfologia das pedreiras de modo a permitir uma melhor compreensão do objecto de análise. Posteriormente, o enquadramento jurídico possibilitará compreender a evolução e as necessidades verificadas ao longo dos tempos em termos de legislação até à actualidade. Este estudo de caso tem como objectivo a análise das causas dos acidentes de trabalho em 12 pedreiras da zona de Lisboa e Vale do Tejo de Portugal. A metodologia baseia-se no levantamento de dados, análise e tratamento dos mesmos com base em questionários realizados aos responsáveis pela área da Segurança, Higiene e Saúde no Trabalho ou aos Directores das empresas em estudo. Também se inquiriu os trabalhadores de cada organização para melhor compreensão e apuramento das realidades vividas neste sector. | dc.description.abstract | Abstract Considered one of the sectors of industry where most accidents happen, according to the GET/MTSS, this study aims to analyze the causes and circumstances in which they occur. It will be done a geological setting on the morphology of the quarries so that this study can be contextualized. This will contribute to a butter understanding of the subject that is being analyzed. Subsequently, the legal framework will enable the understanding of the evolution and the needs in terms of legislation over time till today. This case study aims to analyse the causes of accidents at work in twelve quarries in the area of Lisbon and Vale do Tejo (Tagus Valley), in Portugal. The methodology is based on data collection and on, it analysis and treatment. The collected information was based on queries made to those responsible for the safety, Hygiene and Health at work or the Directors of the companies under study. The employees of each organization were also inquired so that there could be a better understanding and clearance of the realities in this area.
