Abstract(s)
Com este artigo pretende-se refl ectir sobre
a relação entre as estratégias empresariais
e as práticas de desenvolvimento (gestão
da formação e gestão das carreiras) dos
quadros superiores nas empresas do sector de
componentes para automóvel. Os dados foram
recolhidos através da aplicação de um inquérito
por questionário. A amostra é constituída por
72 empresas. Os resultados indicam que as
práticas de desenvolvimento para os quadros
superiores apresentam diferenciações consoante
as estratégias de negócio preconizadas pelas
empresas do sector de componentes para
automóvel. Concluímos que as empresas do
sector de componentes para automóvel, ao
possuírem diferentes estratégias, possuem
também diferentes formas de preconizar
essas mesmas estratégias, as quais sustentam
e são sustentadas por diferentes práticas de
desenvolvimento, nomeadamente ao nível da
gestão da formação e da gestão das carreiras.
These paper intends to make a refl ection on the identifi cation and characterization of relations between business strategies and some development practices (training and careers management) for highly qualifi ed professionals in automotive parts industry companies. The research method used was the survey. The study covers 72 companies. Results suggest that the development management practices for highly qualifi ed professionals present differentiations according to business strategies in the automotive parts industry companies. We conclude that the automotive parts industry companies, when possessing different business strategies, also possess different forms to praise these same strategies, which support and are supported by some different development management practices, namely to the training and careers management.
