Abstract(s)
O presente Relatório visa transmitir e descrever as
atividades e experiências obtidas ao longo do estágio
curricular realizado em parceria com a agência de
comunicação DesignLab4U. A realização deste estágio
surge como a etapa final do mestrado de Design e
Publicidade, no IADE - Universidade Europeia – Faculdade
de Design, Tecnologias e Comunicação.
Numa fase inicial do presente documento é apresentado o
enquadramento da temática a abordar, definidos os
objetivos do estágio e as metodologias a aplicar. É, ainda,
apresentada a entidade acolhedora e tutores associados.
Segue-se o enquadramento teórico do âmbito do estudo,
distinguindo os conceitos de Design de Comunicação e
Design de Identidade.
No capítulo 3 deste Relatório, são apresentados os quatro
projetos desenvolvidos, nomeadamente:
(i) Criação da identidade gráfica da Prodaci –
Proteção de Dados e Cibersegurança;
(ii) Conceção da parte editorial do e-book
“Investigação e Prática em Leitura”;
(iii) Desenvolvimento do web site do projeto
“Locus”;
(iv) Elaboração das artes finais do catálogo do
DesignLab4U.
O último capítulo transmite as aprendizagens obtidas no
estudo. Salienta-se a aproximação entre os campos teórico e prático, que é benéfica para os resultados obtidos da
presente experiência. A análise dos objetivos inicialmente
definidos e a forma como os mesmos foram alcançados
permite evidenciar a aplicabilidade da função de designer
no mundo profissional, bem como transparecer como esta
pode facilitar e catapultar o sucesso de uma determinada
marca ou empresa.
This Report transmits and describes the activities and experiences achieved during the curricular internship carried out in partnership with the communication agency DesignLab4U. This internship took place as the final stage of the Master in Design and Advertising, at IADE-EU - Faculty of Design, Technologies and Communication. We start by presenting the framework of the addressed topic, then we define the internship objectives and discuss the applied methodologies. The receiving entity and associated tutors are also presented. The theoretical framework of the study scope follows, distinguishing the concepts of Communication Design and Identity Design. In chapter 3 of this Report, the four projects developed are presented, namely: (i) Creation of Prodaci's graphic identity - Data Protection and Cybersecurity; (ii) Design of the editorial part of the e-book “Investigation and Practice in Reading”; (iii) Development of the “Locus” project web site; (iv) Elaboration of the final arts for the DesignLab4U catalog. The last chapter conveys the learnings achieved in the study. It should be noted that the approximation between the theoretical and practical fields is beneficial for the results obtained in the present experience. The analysis of the objectives initially defined and the way they are achieved allows us to highlight the applicability of the designer’s role in the professional world, as well as showing how it can facilitate and maximize the success of a given brand or company.
