No contexto atual do mercado, é crucial assegurar uma experiência de trabalho positiva para motivar os colaboradores em qualquer organização, incluindo o setor imobiliário em Portugal, que é o foco deste estudo. Embora a instabilidade seja um fator contributivo para as elevadas taxas de rotatividade neste setor, não é a única razão.
A escassez de investigação sobre práticas de gestão de recursos humanos neste campo sublinha a importância de uma maior atenção para compreender as variáveis que o afetam. Este estudo explora o impacto da motivação, das características do trabalho (com base no Modelo de Características do Trabalho - JCM) e dos sistemas de recompensas na turnover intention no setor imobiliário.
O objetivo foi compreender como o JCM influencia negativamente a turnover intention, como influencia positivamente a motivação e como esta, por sua vez, afeta a turnover intention. A pesquisa procura preencher uma lacuna na literatura específica deste setor, fornecendo insights para estratégias organizacionais que abordem os desafios estruturais.
Concluiu-se que as características do trabalho e as motivações têm um impacto significativo na turnover intention dos colaboradores. Investir em autonomia, feedback e reconhecimento revela-se fundamental para motivar e reter talentos no setor imobiliário, respondendo assim às principais preocupações organizacionais relacionadas com a rotatividade.
In the current market context, it is crucial to ensure a positive work experience to motivate employees in any organization, including the real estate sector in Portugal, which is the focus of this study. While instability is a contributing factor to high turnover rates in this sector, it is not the only reason. The lack of research on human resource management practices in this field underscores the importance of paying closer attention to understanding the variables that affect it. This study explores the impact of motivation, job characteristics (based on the Job Characteristics Model - JCM), and reward systems on turnover intention in the real estate sector. The aim was to understand how the JCM negatively influences turnover intention, positively affects motivation, and how motivation, in turn, affects turnover intention. The research seeks to fill a gap in the specific literature of this sector, providing insights for organizational strategies addressing structural challenges. It was concluded that job characteristics and motivations significantly impact employees' turnover intention. Investing in autonomy, feedback, and recognition proves essential to motivate and retain talent in the real estate sector, thereby addressing key organizational concerns related to turnover.
