Às Forças de Segurança está, hoje em dia, implícito um jogo relacional de difícil execução: manter a ordem sustentável, sem interferir com os direitos fundamentais das pessoas. Desta maneira, face ao paradigma da sociedade actual, urge encontrar soluções que optimizem a actuação das Forças no terreno, nomeadamente, em cenários de manifestações. Assim, face às características individuais da mulher na nossa sociedade, é chegado o momento de reflectir acerca da sua utilização como Técnica de Ordem Pública.
Perante isto, e porque as mudanças organizacionais não podem ser bruscas, torna-se imperativo conhecer, qual a opinião dos elementos policiais que mais de perto lidam com o fenómeno manifestante. Só assim, se poderá perceber a possível aceitação da mulher em unidades policiais responsáveis pela manutenção e reposição da ordem pública.

Before this situation and because organizational changes cannot be abrupt, it is urgent to know the police officers „opinion since it is them who most closely deal with those manifestation scenarios.
