Abstract(s)
This project is based on the idea and concept of a transdisciplinary bazaar and its visual identity, inspired by Middle Eastern markets, with a modernist approach, exclusively featuring products made in Portugal, by Portuguese artists and designers. The main goal is to gather a diversified selection of Portuguese goods and bring it to the tourists who arrive to the city of Lisbon, by providing the opportunity to know more about them and to buy them. This market also values and promotes national artists and their internationalisation. Consequently, the idea is to create a pleasant and comfortable space to make the customer “feel at home”, while keeping it enticing and desirable enough to sell the products that will hopefully cross borders and divulge the best of what the country has to offer.
