Abstract(s)
O objeto de estudo deste trabalho é a qualificação da formação na Autoridade Marítima Nacional, caracterizando o Curso de Nadador-Salvador profissional (CNSP) com o intuito de integra-lo no catálogo nacional de qualificações (CNQ) e obter a certificação internacional da International Live Saving Federation (ILS).
Foi utilizada a estratégia do tipo misto (qualitativo e quantitativo), e um desenho da pesquisa segundo os pressupostos de um estudo de caso, baseado na revisão bibliográfica e análise/comparação de referências de formação de outros países, da doutrina internacional e dos requisitos do CNQ.
Descreve-se a formação do CNSP ministrado em Portugal, analisa-se a formação ministrada em outros países da europa, os requisitos da organização internacional dos Nadadores-salvadores e os requisitos programáticos para a inclusão do curso no CNQ.
Conclui-se propondo alterações a considerar com vista a assegurar a inclusão do curso no CNQ e cumprir os requisitos necessários para a certificação a nível internacional.
The object of this work study is the training qualification of the National Maritime Authority, through the characterization and analyses of the professional lifeguard course in order to integrate it in the national qualifications catalog (NQC) and obtain international certification of the International Live Saving Federation (ILS). The research strategy used in this study was both qualitative and quantitative research, and this investigation was based on the assumptions of a case study, built through an intensive bibliographic review and comparison of training references from other countries, international doctrine and NQC requirements. It describes the training in the professional lifeguard course taught in Portugal, analyzed the training provided in other European countries, as well as the requirements of the international lifeguard organization and the requirements for inclusion course at NQC. It concludes by proposing changes to be considered in order to ensure the inclusion of the course in the NQC and obtain the certification of the course at an international level.
