Abstract(s)
O tema deste trabalho incide sobre o sniper nas operações de reconhecimento, sendo o seu principal objectivo provar se o seu emprego se justifica neste tipo de operações.
O estudo recaiu sobre os factores que influenciam o ambiente operacional, bem como a sua caracterização actual. Posteriormente, procurou-se perceber a importância das operações de reconhecimento como ferramenta para recolha de informação.
Neste trabalho existe a preocupação de caracterizar o sniper ao nível das suas capacidades, possibilidades e equipamento que utiliza, assim como a forma como é empregue no campo de batalha. Seguidamente efectua-se a articulação das valências do sniper com as tarefas típicas de uma unidade que executa operações de reconhecimento terrestre.
A elaboração do trabalho permitiu perceber o sniper e o modo como este se pode adaptar às
operações de reconhecimento terrestre.
Abstract The theme of this research focuses on the sniper in reconnaissance operations, being the main objective to prove if his employment in those kinds of operations is justified. The study felt over the operational environment influence factors, as well as its actual characterization. After that, it was tried to understand the importance of the reconnaissance operations as an intelligence gathering tool. In this research there is a concern of the sniper’s characterization in his capabilities, possibilities, equipment used as well as the way he is employed in the battlefield. After that, it was made an engaged between the sniper capabilities and the land reconnaissance operations unit typical tasks. The elaboration of this research allowed to understand the sniper and the way he could adapt himself to the land reconnaissance operations.
