Abstract(s)
A arte de liderar tem vindo a ser muito estudada desde o início do século XX, e a boa liderança traduz-se na satisfação dos seus liderados. Liderança não é sinónimo de poder ou autoridade, mas sim de comportamento; E neste mundo de mudanças constantes, as pessoas tendem a ser influenciadas por tudo a sua volta, não só por um líder. Este trabalho de cariz sociológico tem por objetivo analisar e explorar o resultado auto percecionado do desempenho dos trabalhadores ao estilo de liderança que diferentes chefias aplicam nas suas tarefas diárias, ou seja, verificar se o desempenho é influenciável ao estilo de liderança empresarial.
O trabalho consiste em duas fases distintas: uma teórica e outra prática. Do estudo a efetuar é de se concluir o seguinte:
a) Existe interdependência entre o desempenho e o estilo de líder existente (má liderança, mau desempenho) ou,
b) As pessoas têm inteligência intelectual e competências humanas com vontade de alcançar objetivos e ambicionam o sucesso independentemente do estilo de liderança adotado pelas chefias.
Estes capítulos do trabalho incluem teorias de enquadramento compostas por uma revisão da literatura coerente e concisa (sobre a liderança e desempenho), extraída de vários autores e a fase prática tem por base a recolha de dados, através de inquéritos por questionários que resultam numa análise de dados às perguntas de investigação.
The art of leading has been extensively studied since the beginning of the twentieth century, and good leadership is reflected in the satisfaction of their team. Leadership does not mean power or authority, but behavior. And in this world of constant change, people tend to be influenced with what surrounds them, not only a leader. So this sociological research project has as purpose analyze and correlate the results "self perceived" performance of workers to different leadership style that managers apply in their daily tasks. That is, check whether the performance is influenced to leadership style. The research project consists of two distinct phases, one theoretical and one practical. The study to be performed is to conclude the following: a) There is interdependence between the performance and the existing leadership style (poor leadership, poor performance) or, b) People have intellectual intelligence and human skills willing to achieve and aspire to success regardless of deployed leadership style. These chapters of the research project include literature review composed by a review of coherent and concise research (on leadership and performance), which was extracted by several authors, then it comes the methodology and finally the practical part which is based on the collection of data through surveys by questionnaires that result in data analysis for research questions.
