Abstract(s)
A Força Aérea (FA) vai receber um novo Sistema de Armas (SA), mais versátil,
veloz, de maior alcance e altamente tecnológico. De características ímpares, importa
verificar quais os desafios e oportunidades que se avizinham e as adaptações necessárias
para operar a aeronave na máxima capacidade, seja em termos de equipamentos de apoio,
seja identificando os pilares para o novo conceito de operação.
Para obter os resultados pretendidos orientamo-nos por uma investigação aplicada de
raciocínio indutivo, através de uma estratégia de investigação de abordagem qualitativa. A
recolha de dados baseou-se na revisão de literatura e em entrevistas semi e não
estruturadas. Para a respetiva análise de dados optou-se por um desenho de pesquisa do
tipo transversal.
Como resultados, concluímos que, além de novas missões, nomeadamente
reabastecimento aéreo e possibilidade de combate a incêndios, a implementação do KC-
390 garante à FA uma maior eficiência na operação, expandindo geograficamente a
operacionalidade das missões. Para tal, mais do que necessitar de renovar os equipamentos
de apoio à operação, será primordial dotar os Recursos Humanos dos conhecimentos
essenciais à operação da aeronave, nomeadamente no que diz respeito a um sistema
altamente tecnológico, a performance de uma aeronave a reação e do sistema fly-by-wire. Abstract: The Portuguese Air Force will receive a new Weapon System, which is faster, reaches
farther, more versatile and highly technological. With unique characteristics, it's important
to verify which are the challenges and opportunities to come and the necessary adaptations
to handle the aircraft in its maximum capacity, whether this is regarding support equipment
or regarding structural ideas for the new operations concept.
To obtain the desired results we have been led by an applied investigation of inductive
reasoning, through an investigation strategy of qualitative approach. The data collection
was based on a literature review and on semi-structured and non-structured interviews. For
the associated data analysis, we opted for a cross sectional research design. With the
results, we concluded that, besides new missions, mainly air refueling and the possibility of
fire fighting, the implementation of KC-390 assures the air force a greater efficiency in the
operation, expanding geographically functionality of the missions. To this end, more than
the need to renew the equipment that supports the operations, it is fundamental to endow
the Human Resources of the knowledge essential to the aircraft operation, mainly
regarding a highly technological system, the performance of a jet aircraft and the fly-bywire
system.
