| dc.description.abstract | Convivemos com espaços construídos grande parte das nossas vidas, por isso, é fundamental pensar e compreender as experiências humanas nesses ambientes. O presente trabalho, tem por objetivo entender o espaço habitado, para além do espaço geométrico, respondendo à questão: porque e como, os lugares nos causam emoções? Com esse fim, são analisadas quais as qualidades e valores que o espaço nos pode proporcionar. Assim, foi necessário entender que o ser humano deve ser compreendido na sua totalidade, através da sua cultura, história, experiência, memória, necessidade, desejo e o seu gosto pessoal, sendo que os espaços estão inseridos nesse contexto. Através desses estudos foi possível perceber que muitos dos aspetos do contexto do espaço, influenciam e têm impacto no ser humano, nas suas experiências e sentimentos. A arquitetura e o design de ambientes, se estiverem disso conscientes, poderão desenvolver espaços que proporcionem empatia, sentimento de pertença e bem-estar ao Homem. | pt_PT |
| dc.description.abstract | We live within built spaces for great part of our lives, so it is fundamental to think and understand human experiences in these environments. The present work aims at understanding the inhabited space, beyond the geometric space, answering the question: why and how do places cause emotions in us? To this end, we analyze the qualities and values the space can provide us with. Therefore, it was necessary to understand that the human being must be understood in its totality, through its culture, history, experiences, memories, needs, desires and its personal tastes, and the spaces are inserted in this context. Through this study it was possible to perceive that all the context that is part of the space, has influence and has an impact on the human being, their experiences and feelings. The architecture and design, if they are aware of it, can develop spaces that provide empathy, a sense of belonging and provide well-being to Man. | pt_PT |
