Abstract(s)
fusão, a animação híbrida.
Due to the technological evolution, animation has the ability to develop and bring together a diverse number of techniques, creating the conditions for hybrid animation to have a major impact on the future of the area. The aim of this study is to know the interest of professionals, academics and students regarding their adherence to the hybridization process. In this study, we focus only on 2D and 3D animation and their fusion – hybrid animation. To achieve this purpose, we resorted to methodological triangulation, combining literature review, quantitative and qualitative methods. We carried out a sample questionnaire with a confidence level of 90% and an error level of 8%, which resulted in responses from 106 participants and with open and structured interviews with four professionals performing different functions in the area. The thesis aims to contribute: (1) to increase the knowledge between methods, techniques and results of 2D,3D animation and mainly its joining to hybrid animation; (2) to a greater knowledge of animation as a tool for communication and artistic expression; (3) by giving voice to creatives in the area to be able to express their interests and wishes related to the topic; (4) the clarification of the theme and problematic of this study and provide new information and data in this area of animation studies, an area yet to develop its great theoretical potential.
