The advancement of artificial intelligence has profoundly transformed healthcare delivery, challenging and expanding the scope of nursing practice today. This E-Book of Abstracts, stemming from the 4th National Webinar and 2nd International Webinar of the Department of Medical-Surgical / Adult and Elderly Nursing, reflects the timeliness and relevance of this theme, bringing together a collection of research and innovative practices that illustrate the intersection between technology and nursing care. This book not only documents the progress and challenges associated with the application of artificial intelligence in nursing but also aims to serve as a reference guide for researchers, educators, and professionals interested in deepening their knowledge in this emerging field. The diversity of the topics presented reflects not only innovation in nursing practice but also the commitment of the academic and professional community to critically and constructively explore the potential of artificial intelligence in healthcare. Among the works featured, rigorous methodological approaches stand out, supporting the implementation of evidence-based solutions and contributing to an informed and enlightening discussion on best practices in the use of new technologies. The E-Book of Abstracts is organized to provide a structured and thematic reading experience, with content distributed across two main sections. The first section follows the main program of the event: Technology and Care, Promoting Self-Care, AI-Based Platforms, and Decision Making in Nursing: AI-Based Algorithms. The second section gathers the works presented as Oral Communications and Posters. We invite all readers to explore this publication with a critical and innovative perspective, reflecting on ethical, safe, and efficient ways of integrating technology into nursing care—while never losing sight of the humanistic essence that defines this profession. We extend our sincere gratitude to all authors, researchers, and participants who made this event possible and contributed to the development of this valuable repository of knowledge. May this publication serve as an inspiration and catalyst for future research, specialized training, and interdisciplinary collaborations, contributing to a nursing profession increasingly prepared to meet the challenges of the future.eng
